About Amber Autos LTD
Amber Autos LTD is a licensed vehicle recycling and scrap car collection business founded by Ksistof and Pavel in 2018, based at Unit 5 & 6, Stock Road, Southend-on-Sea, Essex SS2 5QF. We specialise in buying scrap, damaged, unwanted and end-of-life vehicles — offering free collection across Essex, bank transfer paid on collection and handling all DVLA paperwork from start to finish.
We also dismantle vehicles for quality used parts, listed through our eBay parts store and available to buyers across the UK. Every part we save is one less part manufactured new — reducing waste and giving components a second life.
Licensed Authorised Treatment Facility
Amber Autos LTD is a fully licensed Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) holding Environment Agency Permit JP3029SM. This licence authorises us to legally collect, depollute, dismantle and recycle end-of-life vehicles and to issue Certificates of Destruction.
Only licensed ATFs can legally issue a Certificate of Destruction — the document that removes a scrapped vehicle from the registered keeper's name on the DVLA database. If you scrap your car with an unlicensed dealer, you will not receive a CoD and remain legally responsible for the vehicle.

How We Work
Every vehicle that arrives at our facility follows a strict legal process. We use Notion to log every incoming ELV with full details — registration, make, model, keeper information and V5C status. All vehicles are fully depolluted at our dedicated depollution bay on our fully impermeable yard surface before any dismantling begins.
All hazardous waste is collected by licensed contractors — engine oil and oily rags by Slicker, scrap metal by Imperial Metal — under Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes and Waste Transfer Notes. We submit annual ELV performance returns to the Environment Agency and consistently achieve a recycling rate of over 95% on every vehicle we process.

Ksistof brings a background in software engineering to Amber Autos — combining technical precision with hands-on automotive knowledge. His engineering mindset drives the systems and processes behind the business: from the Notion-based vehicle tracking system to the compliance and documentation workflows that keep the facility operating to Environment Agency standards. Ksistof handles the operational and technical side of the business, ensuring every vehicle is processed correctly and every customer receives a seamless experience.
Pavel
Co-Founder & Owner
Pavel is a seasoned entrepreneur who previously founded and successfully operated two grocery businesses, both of which he grew and sold. With a strong track record in building customer-focused businesses from the ground up, Pavel now brings that same commercial instinct and operational drive to Amber Autos. He focuses on business development, parts operations and customer relationships — ensuring Amber Autos LTD delivers the kind of service that generates the repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals the company is built on.
